Haunted Valley is the first level of Painkiller Overdose chapter 3.
Description[]
This level is set in wooded valley with with lots of vegetation, shrubs, trees, mushrooms and colorful lanterns. At the top of the hill and across small lake, are the ruins of the castle. Below them is a torture chamber which has secret exit from the castle to small graveyard and valley with tall mushrooms.

This level is inhabited mostly by monsters from fairy tales. This level introduces four new monsters apart from old ones. They include:

- Barrel Dragonflies
- Banshees
- Scarecrows
- Hants
- Templar Knights
- Ghosts
- Executioners
- Tortured
Tarot card[]
Tarot card of this level is Dark Soul. To acquire it, player cannot collect a single soul.

The first secret is located on the wooden roof in the first valley. To reach it the player has to simply climb onto the ruined wall next to that wooden roof to collect an armor. | |

The second secret is located in the ruined castle tower in which you with with Hants, Templar Knights and Executioners. It is reached by walking up the ruined wooden stairs to the upper wooden platform with holy item. | Video |

The third secret is a continuation of secret 2 as it is located in the same ruined castle tower but one floor up. To reach it the player has to walk up another pair of ruined stairs. | Video |

The fourth secret is located on top of the ruined wall in the area with the giant mushrooms. | Video |

The fifth secret is located in the ruined castle tower directly opposite of the castle tower with secrets 2 and 3. It is reached simply by backtracking to that tower after killing all enemies in the level. | Video |
