Deto[]

Detos are demonic male soldiers that appear in Leningrad (Battle out of Hell and Hell Wars) and Magazines.

Detos are small middle aged overweight men, that wear a Russian green army uniform with dynamite packs attached to it by duct tape. They are bald, have a red nose, have demonic yellow glowing eyes, and have a bleeding gunshot wound in their nape; they also always grin no matter what. They carry a detonator in the left hand that they use to detonate the dynamite.

When they spot the player, they will run head first into them while taunting and laughing maniacally, and when in close proximity, they will use the detonator to detonate the dynamite packs strapped to their body, instantly killing them and potentially damaging the player. They can be interrupted by shooting them when they are about to push the detonator; however, they will still continue the attack even if the player is no longer close to them.

When killed by the player, they still trigger the same explosion as if they were to detonate themselves.

They will never retaliate against enemies that harmed them, not even when they are under Confusion's effect.

The normal version is found exclusively in Magazines. The sole Deto enemy found in this level is weaker than the Detos found in Leningrad.

Booklet Description[]

Some of the soldiers in Purgatory’s Leningrad are far deadlier than others. Deto soldiers are experts in explosives. Their attacks range from laying minefields to engaging in explosive kamikaze attacks.

Tough Deto[]

The Tough Deto is found exclusively in Leningrad (Battle out of Hell and Hell Wars). They are the tougher version, having more health than a normal Deto.

Deto (Hell & Damnation)[]

Detos (or "Detonators") are demonic male soldiers that appear in Stalingrad, Bunker and Pentagon (Heaven's Above).

When they spot a player, they will run head first into them while taunting and laughing maniacally, and when in close proximity, they will use the detonator to detonate the dynamite packs strapped to their body, instantly killing them and potentially damaging the player. They can be interrupted by shooting them when they are about to push the detonator, and unlike the original, they won't continue the detonation and give chase again. When possessed, they will start chasing enemies and detonate continuously, as now they won't die from the explosion until the possession runs out, or are killed by the enemy; it is worth noting that these explosions still damage the player.

When killed by the player, they still trigger the same explosion as if they were to detonate themselves.

The normal version is found in Stalingrad and Bunker. They are slow and have an incredibly devastating explosion. They deal constant damage(290) to anything that isn't a player.

Pentagon Deto[]

The Pentagon Detos appear exclusively in Pentagon (Heaven's Above). They are faster than regular Detos; don't leave a soul like the other Pentagon enemies; have slightly more health, and their explosion also deals a lot less damage, to the point where they don't even die to it, and are able to detonate themselves a second time. Their skin is unaffected by the freezing effect, but their movement is still halted. They deal constant damage(150) to anything that isn't a player.
