Dead Marsh is the fifth level of Painkiller Overdose chapter 1.
Description[]
This level is set somewhere in marshes late in the evening. There are a lot of various caves and ruins, as well as some houses. The marshes contain big graveyard which is surrounded by stone wall and swamp water. There's also area with gigantic heads that bear slight resemblance to those from real Easter Island. According to Belial the Dead Marsh is a place of the cult that worship eating brain of worshipers.
Monsters[]
This level is inhabited mostly by monks, cultists and other swamp monsters. This level also introduces three new kinds of enemies. They include:
- Devil Monks
- Insane Cultists
- Brain Eaters
- Tentacle Monsters
- Leper Zombies
- Barrel Dragonflies
- Overseer - it serves as miniboss
Tarot card[]
Tarot card of this level is Haste. To acquire it, player has to finish the level using only Razor Cube.
