Loony Park is the second level of Painkiller Battle Out Of Hell.

Description[]

This level is set in a large and hellish amusement park with a green sky and vortex in the middle. The door to enter consists of other lifeless monsters and their bones act as a revolving door. The whole amusement park is very colorful and has multiple eye catching trimmings and accessories. It has various attractions and rides such as colorful carousels and other entertainment attractions, as well as ice cream or hamburgers booths. There is also a gigantic Ferris wheel with a pentagram on it. However, all of the attractions are rather grim and morose because one carousel has circular saws and another has electric chairs as seats. Other entertainment attractions include "Acid Bath" and "House Of Pain", and judging from food booths, ice creams are made from flesh with nails and hamburgers are alive. Also on a big tree is a roller coaster. However only the front part of Loony Park is explored as there's a crater in the ground which prevents from exploring other parts of Loony Park.

Tarot card[]

The tarot card of this level is Magic Gun. To acquire it, the player has to kill no more than 88 enemies.

Secret areas/pickups[]

Four armors can be found in this level:

The first one (bronze) is located just before the giant hole in front of Loony Park's entrance. (Behind you at the start).
The second one (silver) is located behind the small alcove in front of the 'House of Pain' building.
The third one (bronze) is located in the middle of the pavement next to the hamburger booth behind the 'House of Pain' building.
The fourth one (gold) is located inside the 'Acid Bath' building at the back (connected with secret #3).

Secret 1	The first secret is located on the left ice cream booth in front of Loony Park's entrance. It is reached by climbing onto a wooden pole of the roller-coaster next to the booth and jumping onto the ice cream scoop.	Video
Secret 2	The second secret is located inside the frontal second ventilation shaft for disposing bodies from the 'House of Pain' building. It is reached by jumping onto the pod with bodies to pull the wooden door and collect the golden crosses. Note: Painkiller has an uncapped frame-rate. Usually this isn't a problem however the developers tied the physics to the frame-rate. Which makes getting out of secret 2 impossible. To fix this, once inside secret 2, open the console by pressing the tilde key and typing "/setmaxfps 60" without the ". Once out of there, you can set the fps back to unlimited by typing "/setmaxfps 0".	Video
Secret 3	The third secret is located inside the 'Acid Bath' building at the back. It is reached by ignoring the checkpoint that leads to the roller-coaster and going to the 'Acid' Bath building. Inside hop onto the trampolines and avoiding the noxious acid until you reach the secret.	Video
Secret 4	The fourth secret is located on the roof of the blue carousel with circular saws. It is reached by: Going onto the top of the pavement that leads to the roller-coaster. Then jump onto the 'Acid Bath' building's roof. Try to pass the steam chimneys to reach the carousel. Jump from the roof to the carousel to collect a megapack.	Video

Trivia[]

The writing on the ice cream booths is "Zmielono Burka choć wściekły był jak infi." which translates to "Burek was minced despite being angry like infi" in Polish. The sign itself is a reference to a Polish brand of ice cream named Zielona Budka.
With a well timed jump it it possible to jump across the crater and explore the background scenery of the roller coaster ride and there is a lot to explore. The benches outside the map cannot be destroyed and use a different aesthetic, there are also shooting galleries, a bumper car ride with coffins and of course a Ferris wheel. There are interesting paintings found on many of the walls, including a painting of a wizard who appears to be casting a lightning spell.
The Loony Park map has been made as a playable map in Left 4 Dead 2.

Loony Park is the fourth level in third chapter of Painkiller: Overdose.

Description[]

This level is the exact copy of Loony Park, which is slightly modified and it's set in large and hellish amusement park with green sky and vortex in the middle. The cranks to enter consist of other monsters and their bones as support .The whole amusement park is very colorful and has multiple eye catching trimmings and accessories. It has various attractions and rides such as colorful carousels and other entertainment attractions, as well as ice cream or hamburgers booths. There is also gigantic Ferris wheel with pentagram. However, all of attractions are rather grim and morose because one carousel has circular saws and another has electric chairs as seats. Other entertainment attractions include "Acid Bath" or "House Of Pain", and judging from food booths, ice creams are made from flesh with nails and hamburgers are alive. There's also crater in the ground which prevents from exploring other parts of Loony Park. However the rollercoaster is missing and instead there's a new area with pirate ships.

The Tarot Cards of this level are Fury and Divine Intervention. To acquire them, player has to kill 3 enemies in row by using sawblade (Fury) and posses 25 monsters using Soul Catcher (Divine Intervention).

It is reached by going into the ticket booth on the left side of the carousel to activate the teleport. The teleport will appear on top of the cauldron full of dead bodies next to a House Of Pain. Secret 2	The second secret is located on top of the House Of Pain (next to a man's head). It is reached by going into the ticket booth next to the building so the explosion will move the metal crate and reveal a springboard. Jump on the spring board to jump onto the roof to collect the two holy items.	Video
