Zombie Warlords are an advanced version of Zombie Warriors that attack you with Firebrands and have a shield (Although it does a bad job at protecting them),they cut off the head of the Zombie Warrior, after which the Zombie Warrior use a berserker attack. They come in two variants.

The first one is rather basic, and is only an upgrade of Zombie Warriors. They can either slice you with the sword, or bonk you with their shields. The shield attack does no damage, but it can mess with your vision for a second, allowing them to get a slice in. They appear in the Cemetery, Forbidden Valley, Old Underground Complex, Entrance, Unholy Stronghold, Small Church, Unfortunate Abbey and Graveyard.

Necromancer[]
The second version looks more like a monster then a zombie, and they have the added effect of reviving Zombie Warriors if the Zombie Warrior isn't blown to pieces. They appear in the Catacombs, Forbidden Valley, Old Underground Complex, Unholy Stronghold, Unfortunate Abbey and Graveyard.
Necromancers in Painkiller: Recurring Evil do not revive Zombie Warriors, perhaps due to the fact that Priests are engaged in the revival in this game.
Trivia/Theories[]
- The soul of a Zombie warrior remains in the place of revival. Thus, several souls can be collected from one Zombie warrior.
- They actually have a beta version, but this version was never implemented.
- They may be based off of human's fear of evil people rising up the dead.

The Zombie Warlords are an upgrade of Zombie Warriors. They can either slice you with the sword, or bonk you with their shields. The shield attack does lower damage, but it can mess with your vision for a second, allowing them to get a slice in. They are also pretty fast. They appear in the Cemetery, Colosseum and Graveyard.
