Rocket Jumping Edit

There are 2 types of rocket jumping, the normal one and the forward rocket jumping.

Normal Rocket Jumping Edit

The normal rocket jumping is a feature included in Painkiller (Heaven's got a Hitman, BOOH and Black Editon), Painkiller Overdose, Painkiller: Resurrection and Painkiller Hell & Damnation.

The normal rocket jump consist in the player switching to the grenade launcher and then launch themselves using the explosion of the grenade produced under their feet. It is very effective if you want to reach high places or get a boost while bunny jumping.

The normal rocket jump even has a button which switches to the grenade launcher and automatically fires a grenade, the button has been "cut" in Painkiller: Resurrection due to the lack of usefulness.

Forward Rocket Jumping Edit

The forward rocket jumping is a feature included in Painkiller (Heaven's got a Hitman, BOOH and Black Editon), Painkiller Overdose, Painkiller: Resurrection (Impossible).

The forward rocket jump consist in the player switching to the grenade launcher and then launch themselves forward using the explosion of the grenade produced under their feet, this method is produced by launching the grenade slightly behind the player's feet (beyond the limits of the camera) and at that moment jump.

Since the forward rocket jump is impossible to be done by a human being, a button for this feature has been added, the button has been "cut" in Painkiller: Resurrection due to the lack of usefulness.

This feature can be disabled by unchecking the option "Allow Forward Rocket Jumping" while making the server.
