Prison is the first level of Painkiller chapter 2. This level is unlocked only on Nightmare or Trauma difficulties.
Description
This level is set in rather small prison. Just like in any other prison there is a cafeteria, shower room, a large room with prison cells and in front of it there's a large yard full of explosive barrels and crates. Next to the cell row is a office area with a doctor's office that resembles a torture room. Also below the prison is a execution room with electric chair.
Monsters
This level is inhabited mostly by monsters that resemble prisoners and security guards. They include:
- Hell Bikers
- Hell Angels
- Freaks - there are only two of them. One as a corpse in the torture room and another one on electric chair.
Tarot card
Tarot card of this level is Replenish. To acquire it, player has to finish the level without using explosive weapons.
Secret areas/pickups
Three armors can be found in this level:
- The first one (bronze) is on the metal box in the first room.
- The second one (bronze) is in the courtyard in front of the room with prison cells.
- The third one (silver) is in the small corridor on the second floor at the beginning of the catwalk in the cafeteria.
Secrets and holy items
- The first secret is located in the sewage drain in the shower room. It is reached by killing all the enemies in the shower room and then by jumping into the open hole.
- The second secret is located in one of the closed rooms in the office area of the prison. It is reached by turning off the electric chair in the basement and waiting for the portal to appear.
- The third secret is located in the prison cell on the second floor. It is reached just like in the case of secret two or if you destroy two metal barrels in the adjacent cell in front of the slab.
- The fourth secret is located in the ventilation shaft at the beginning of the level. It is reached by destroying the metal barrel next to the broken fan at the far right. Then just push the metalic boxes on each other to reach the shaft.
